Penang Hill Heritage Forest Challenge 2025
The highly anticipated annual Penang Hill Heritage Forest Challenge (PHHFC) will be celebrating the 10th edition on 17 August 2025 (Sunday)!
Debuted in 2014, PHHFC is designed to showcase Penang as a premier eco-tourism destination while fostering awareness and appreciation for environmental and heritage conservation within the Penang Hill Biosphere Reserve (PHBR).
The route will lead avid runners through the evergreen trails of Penang Hill, starting from the Penang Youth Park and ending at the Penang Hill Station (in front of Penang Hill Angsana Stage).

Starting from Penang Youth Park, the NEW 15km route takes the participants on a run into the Penang Hill Biosphere Reserve (PHBR), where they will pass the following points:-

> Moon Gate Trail
> Moon Gate Station 5
> Station Point 84
> Jeep Track
> Bypath J
> Viaduct Road East
> Viaduct Road West
> Bypath I
> Lower Tunnel Road West
> Bypath F
> Upper Tunnel Road West
> Jalan Tuanku Yahya Petra (Summit Road)
> Penang Hill Station - In Front of Penang Hill Angsana Stage (Finishing Point)

For the 2025 edition, the shorter route of 7km is also redesigned to allow casual and fun runners to share more time to run on more variety of terrain and view more sights around the Penang Hill Biosphere Reserve (PHBR). The participants will pass the following points:-
