Comments : Subject: Complaint Regarding Penang Fellowship Ride Bridge to Bridge Event 2024 Dear Event Organizers, I am writing to express my concerns and dissatisfaction with several aspects of the Penang Fellowship Ride Bridge to Bridge Event 2024. 1. **Jersey Size Issues**: The event jerseys were significantly smaller than usual sizes, which resulted in many participants, including myself, being unable to wear them. Despite this, it was made compulsory to wear the event jersey, leading to discomfort and inconvenience for many riders. 2. **Lack of Finisher Medals**: It was disappointing that no finisher medals were provided. Finisher medals are an important part of the event experience, serving as a token of achievement and a memento for participants. 3. **Insufficient Water Stations**: The number of water stations along the route was inadequate. Proper hydration is crucial during such events, and the scarcity of water stations posed a serious risk to participants' health and safety. 4. **Unacceptable Handling of Non-Jersey Wearers**: It was unacceptable that event organizers had people trying to stop riders without the event jersey from getting onto the bridge, accessing support stations, and first aid stations. The main reason many participants did not wear the event jersey was due to the sizing issue mentioned earlier. Penalizing them for this was both unfair and unreasonable. I hope you take these concerns seriously and make necessary improvements for future events. The success of such events relies heavily on the satisfaction and safety of its participants. Thank you for your attention to these matters. Sincerely, Jason

Ensuring the safety and well-being of participants should be a top priority, and the lack of adequate medical support poses a significant risk in case of emergencies. I hope you take these concerns seriously and make necessary improvements for future events. The success of such events relies heavily on the satisfaction and safety of its participants. Comments : (1) Insufficient water station, while the water station stock is very limited..there were riders not getting the water except for small bottle of drinking water. Shud prepare at least milo or 100 plus to the participant. (2) Lunch shud be pack due to too congested and the meal especially mix vege and fruit are not sufficient (3) participant not registered (ghost rider) had joined w/out paying RM130. (4) the lucky draw prizes not worth for the money paid by the participant..only 3 prizes instead of 2400++ registered. (5) please share link for the photos taken during the ride Thank.you organiser.

Comments : Day 1 Race Kit Collection for Fellowship Ride B2B 2024: 1. One of the printer is out of ink, already inform person in charge of the day. Printer is out of ink around 8pm. 2. During wrap up session, Trek staff inform that for the next day RKC Session, Howei crew need to show up at 8.30am. Info was informed in the Howei crew group at around 10pm after finishing wrap up RKC. 3. Trek staff also informed about Bikelah T-Shirt. Already pass the message to person in charge. 4. There was miscommunications between day 1 crew and day 2 crew. One of day 2 crew keep pm-ing personally and put the blame on day 1 team without even trying to look for the laptop and printer which was already told in the Howei crew group chat that the item was kept in the store. Day 2 crew accused day 1 team did not inform PIC about ink printer. Day 2 crew also assume that both printer is out of ink when she is the one who didn’t operate the printer properly.

Comments : I think the Penang Fellowship bridge to bridge ride 2024 was a great success. It promotes cycling tourism for Penang. The ride is a unique opportunity to ride on the two longest bridges in South East Asia. Otherwise closed to bicycles. We have had tourists from Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam and beyond. I look forward to the 2025 ride.
