The 2nd edition of the Bukit Tungal Trail Run 2026 is now open for registration.
This race will showcase the challenge and fascinating trail all the way to Bukit Tunggal,Kg Gajah,Perak. This race track is suitable for beginner runners and serves as a warm-up or recovery track for professional runners.
The objective of BTTR is to reviving trail running in Malaysia as well as to highlighting tourism in Perak Tengah District.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
- Any online registration that is not followed up with online payment will become invalid registration.
- No multiple entries per participant. No refund will be made for wrongful or multiple registration.
- Please ensure your personal details are entered accurately to avoid any issue during the race pack collection or any other event related purpose that require your personal info.
- Some of your personal info such as name, date of birth, nationality and race result will be shared with external party for qualifying and championship processing. Same set of info might be shared with the authorities and insurance companies for Group Personal Accident policy issuance.
- There is no pre-requisite of completing any other trail running race to participate in BUKIT TUNGGAL TRAIL RUN 2026. It is participants responsibility to ensure you are physically fit to complete the distance you have registered, monitor your health during the race, including knowing when to withdraw from the race if you are no longer able to continue.
RACE RULES
- You must complete the race entirely on foot with no external assistance or pacer.
- It’s forbidden to be accompanied along the race course by anyone other than another registered participant during the race and use of, will result in my disqualification.
- Your race bib must be visible to event crew at all times during the race. It should be worn on the outside of your clothing on the front of your body over your belly or chest, not at your back, on your pant or any other fancy location on your body.
- You must conduct yourself in a sporting, professional and cautious manner during the participation in the event and understand that you may be disqualified if do not do so.
- You acknowledge that your registration is personal to you, and it’s not transferable to other person without the stated process above.
- You agree to retire immediately from the event if ordered to do so by the Event Organisers, crews or marshal, or any government official.
- You accept full liability for any medical expenses incurred because of training for and/or participating in the Event.
- You will be immediately disqualified from the Event if you found to have intentionally shortened the route of the Event.
- You will be immediately disqualified from the Event if you found to be deliberately littering the course.
- You accept that the event organisers reserve the right to amend the event format or cancel the Event due to health and safety reasons, including storm, rain, inclement weather, winds or any other act of God conditions. You accept that the Entry fee shall be non-refundable in this circumstance as costs have already been incurred.
- You accept that the Event Organisers will do their utmost to provide me with a finish time following my completion of the Event, however, they will not be held responsible for any computer result anomalies.
- You agree that you should only be withdrawing from the Event at a pre-defined checkpoint. It is not the Event Organisers responsibility to pick up a runner at any point of the race course unless you are medically unfit.
- You agree to notify the timing officials at the race site of your withdrawal from the race. This will ensure all participants who are registered and pull out of the race are accounted for, allowing for the accurate and safe running of the event.
- You accept that all decisions and rulings by the Event Organizers, its crew or marshal are considered final.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Drop Bag
- Runners can drop their special needs bag at Check Point (Race Village) so runners can plan properly the additional supply they may require throughout the race course.
- All participants may utilize the service provided at the starting line to drop off any bags that you will require post-race in advance. Runners must provide their own bags, label it with bib number, secure them firmly and deposit at least 1 hour before flag off.
- All belonging must be collected before 12:00 pm. The organizer takes no responsibility for the contents of the bag, for theft or loss of item.
Did Not Finish (DNF)
- You will be considered as DNF too if you unable to reach the designated Check Point within the cut off time. Kindly cooperate with the official on duty and allow them to carry out the DNF procedure.
- If you decided to quit during the race, kindly report to the nearest Check Point and follow further instruction by the officials. You may return to the finish line by yourself or in case of injuries, wait for medical assistant.
- DNF participants are not entitled for finisher items.
Disqualified (DQ)
- You will be disqualified (DQ) if you were found cheating by taking shortcuts, use any sort of vehicle for assistance, do not carry the mandatory
- items or commit any act harmful to other runners and officials.
- DQ participants are not entitled for finisher items.
Medical & Insurance
- There will be medical personnel on standby at the race site.
- Ambulance service is on standby as well for emergency cases.
- Participants are responsible to ensure that they are fit and healthy before starting the race. Please consult your doctor if there is any doubt.
- Participants are to accept the risk associated with the event as per indemnity clause stated in the registration form.
- The organizer will not be held responsible for any claim resulted from this event.
- It is recommended that you have personal accident insurance or health insurance.
- Organizer will only provide insurance scheme Group Personal Accident (Short Period).

Age qualification taken as of 31st December 2026
· Registration closed on midnight 9 September 2026.
· All Fees exclude online processing fee.
·
NO REFUND policy If you cannot attend for whatever reason.
· However, we allow BIB TRANSFER policy. You can transfer your bib to another runner with advance notice at least one month before the event’s date with processing fee of RM30

Prizes
All winners will be required to produce mandatory item at RV, legal proof of identification and age in order to be eligible for prizes. Runners who fail to do so will have their rank and prizes forfeited.
