Beyond Pink Charity Walk & Wellness Fest 2025

Step Forward for Awareness, Prevention & Hope Supporting Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital and Penang Hospice Society

Join us for a vibrant 5km Community Walk along Gurney Bay, followed by a dynamic Wellness Festival designed to empower individuals and families to take charge of their health. This inclusive event combines movement, education and connection — inspiring people to prioritise their physical and mental well-being while deepening awareness of the impact of all cancers, including prostate, testicular and childhood cancers.

Through wellness activities, inspiring speakers, health screenings and community engagement, we walk beyond the pink – breaking the boundaries of traditional cancer awareness.

This festival is more than an event; it's a movement. A movement to go Beyond Pink — encouraging early detection, healthy lifestyles, and compassionate support for those impacted by cancer, regardless of age or gender. By walking together and learning together, we champion a proactive, holistic approach to wellness that brings the whole community together.

Event Goals:

• Raise awareness about all types of cancer, not just those traditionally associated with pink.
• Inspire and engage the public through active participation in health and wellness.
• Encourage early screening, prevention, and informed lifestyle choices.
• Build community through shared learning and connection.
• Raise funds to support cancer care in Penang via vendor participation and optional donations.

• 5km Community Walk – Kickstart the day with movement and meaning
• Health Talks – Topics include nutrition, emotional resilience, cancer prevention, and men’s health
• Wellness Workshops – Try Zumba, Yoga, Chair Pilates, Functional Movement and more
• Free Health Screenings – BMI, blood sugar, blood pressure, body composition
• Information Booths – Learn from Mount Miriam, Penang Hospice Society and more
• Pink Merchandise & Raffle Prizes – Raise funds while enjoying exclusive products
